Our History
Intelletrace was founded in 2001 by network engineers Dave Ranghiasci (our COO/CFO) and Dean Zerbe (CTO)—consultants who wanted to provide a high level of service. As demand for their telecom expertise grew, so did their need for a team that followed their values. In 2004, Intelletrace welcomed two sales leaders in the telecom space, including Marc Alciati (CEO). 

When the market shifted in 2008, the need for outsourcing was in high demand . . . and Intelletrace was far ahead of others in the industry recognizing this need. Intelletrace shifted from a consulting firm and wholesaler of internet and data services to a full-scale managed service provider, offering comprehensive professional and managed IT services of the full network hardware stack, working with the leading vendors. As always, our goal is to enhance your operation and create efficiencies, backed by our core corporate values.

Numerous carriers and manufacturers want the business without a long-term relationship. Intelletrace will learn how your business uses your network and your business goals to recommend the best network design or telecom equipment. You will deal with one point of contact who has direct access to over 100 carriers and manufacturers to save you time and money.

2. Wouldn't telecom vendors know more about their products than Intelletrace?

A typical carrier or manufacturer has as much as 50% turnover per year. That means that many salespeople hired by big-box vendors are inexperienced. Plus, vendors focus on their products or services only. Intelletrace has years of consistent experience working with various carriers and manufacturers. We understand the technology and can compare the options across all vendors.

3. What is it like to work with Intelletrace?

Working with Intelletrace is a streamlined experience. Intelletrace helps companies automate their procurement of telecom vendors and network hardware vendors, optimize spend, and stay organized with a single account manager and project manager.

4. Who bills me for services I purchase through Intelletrace?

We do. Your company will sign a Master Service Agreement with Intelletrace, and Intelletrace will be the company of record with the vendor. You'll save thousands of dollars in time onboarding vendors through your legal counsel and procurement process, and get one easy-to-read invoice that can be customized to meet your needs.

5. Is Intelletrace just a reseller and middleman?

Intelletrace is your support team as well as a telecom procurement specialist. We help you get prompt support so that problems are resolved more efficiently thanks to the direct contacts and executive communication lines that we've built over many years. The Intelletrace support center always remains on the line with the carrier support team until resolution.
