What is a OC-3 Private Line?
OC3 Point-to-Point services have full-duplex capacity of 155 Mbps, equivalent to 84 T-1s or 2,016 DS-0s. This service is ideal for large volume MAN/WAN applications. OC3 Private Lines provide the ultimate in high-speed megabyte capacity for any mix of voice, video, data, or image processing. Whether you use an OC3’s entire 155 Mbps for a single, high-bandwidth application or “channelize” your OC3 into (3) DS-3’s, (84) T-1s, or a combination of DS-3s and T-1s, you have all the capacity you need, with room to grow.
