What is a OC-12 Private Line?
OC12 Point-to-Point services have full-duplex capacity of 622 Mbps, equivalent to (336) T-1s or (8,064) DS-0s.
This service is ideal for large volume MAN/WAN applications. OC12 Private Lines provide the ultimate in
high-speed megabyte capacity for any mix of voice, video, data, or image processing. Whether you use an OC3’s
entire 622 Mbps for a single, high-bandwidth application or “channelize” your OC12 into (4) OC3’s, (12) DS-3s,
or a combination of OC3’s and DS-3’s, you have all the capacity you need, with room to grow.
