What is a DS-3 Private Line?
Intelletrace’s DS-3 (sometimes referred to as T3) Private Line service has the ultra-high-speed, full duplex capacity of 45 Mbps, equivalent to (28) T-1s or (672) DS-0s. T3 Private Lines are fast enough to transmit full-motion, real-time video, and very large databases over a busy network. This service is a cost-effective alternative to multiple same-path DS-1 circuits and is ideal for large volume MAN/WAN applications. T3 Private Lines provide dedicated digital service on end-to-end fiber facilities. Whether you use a DS3’s entire 45Mbps for a single, high-bandwidth application or “channelize” your DS-3 into (28) separate T-1s, you have all the capacity you need, with room to grow.
